In this lecture we were talking about communication within graphic design using words, images, colour, layout and style.
Stephen showed us a way to communicate a message. the message/design is sent through an encoder via channel. (bechance) this then can be seen and reviewed by the receiver. This means the sender can get feed back. It is very important to understand that each channel as its strengths and weakness', but this depends on the on the situation. If you have an accurate about your target audience then you can see which method get the best results, again regarding the situation. Such as advertisers they use data gathered online. This means they know how to target there audience better in future because they will know there audience better for the next time they need to advertise.
