In this animation we were being shown how make a type video using after effects.
We started out in illustrator after choosing the font we wanted, putting each individual word in the right page position and on a different layer. Font i used was 'roboto'. I then opened it up in after effects, retaining all layer sizes. The only major thing I did was just bring in all the objects in at the right time by making them fade in and then out again. I did this by changing the opacity of the object to 0% when i didn't want the object to be in shot, then changed the opacity of the object to 100% on the timeline for when I did want the object in shot. I also wanted the styles of the font too as they fade out the next style would be fading in, I did that by slightly over lapping each layer over the one prior to this when making the object opacity to 100%.
