TYPE 1

In the first workshop back we were drawing up our own typeface with john. Were was given four graphic design styled pictures and we had to make different letters from these images for the letters A,N,E,S,G.
This here is a sketch of the letters forms i came up with/found

Here his a variety of styles, a lot of them blocked styles, but it was quite hard to add in more curves when the images given were all straight edges. the third letter in which is an E was inspired by a building of a hotel. 

This was a good workshop, because i enjoyed doing something different and something i haven't done often. John told us that we would be making a type face the following workshop we had with him, so we had to bring back our sample sketches.
